抄録: 本論は，20世紀初期におけるドイツのスポーツ・体育と青少年教育とに関する諸問題を追究し，解明する。そのために以下の様な諸点に研究視点を据える。1)19世紀末から20世紀にかけてのドイツにおける学校体育と社会体育の状況について2)第１次世界大戦前における青少年教育とドイツのスポーツ・体育3)第１次世界大戦中における青少年教育とドイツのスポーツ・体育4)ワイマル共和国時代における青少年教育とドイツのスポーツ・体育 今回は，特に1)の問題，19世紀末から20世紀にかけてのドイツにおける学校体育と社会全般にわたるスポーツ・体育の状況について解明する。; This study makes clear the problems of the German Physical Education or Sports and the Youth Education in beginning of the 20. Century. For this study it is important to make clear the following four investigative points. 1) On the situation and the development of the Physical Education in the school and the Sports in the German Nation from 19. Century to the 20. Century. 2) On the problems of the German Youth Education and the Physical Education or the Sports before the First World War. 3) On the problems of the German Youth Education and the Physical Education or the Sports in the First W orld War. 4) On the problems of the German Physical Education or the Sports and the German Youth Education in the period of the Weimar Republic. Specially，this paper makes clear the situation and the development of the German Physical Education or the Sports in the School and in the German Nation．
